Girl’s Serve

Young women ages 10 to 19 who want to make a difference in their lives and community while committing themselves to making positive choices will meet every 3rd Saturday. The mentees will go on volunteer outings that will help give back to the community.  These outings include: field trips to feed the homeless, street & beach cleanups, and college tours in an effort to inspire them to pursue higher education, etc. We also focus on building a sense of belonging within each mentee.  We have witnessed that during these events, the mentees are often able to find security and comfort in each other, thus increasing the self-confidence in everyone.  The mentors will teach the mentees; the ability to identify a true friend is by becoming a true friend first.
