The Parent/Guardian Effect
We offer parent workshops to educate parents about the program and empower them with parenting skills. Parent’s workshops are offered monthly (every 2nd Saturday). A parent seminar is offered once a year where parents receive training and interact with their child in a therapeutic setting. A full-time Parent Support Coordinator is available to assist parents as needed throughout the program. One of the many services we offer are parent workshops where parents can meet the staff, ask questions and better understand the experience.
With parental involvement being a huge key to our success, we are constantly working to keep parents informed and aware. We understand that for change to occur, the parents must progress with their children.
Our program is designed to provide support and guidance to parents whose children are part of our mentoring program. We understand that parenting can be challenging, and we are here to help you navigate the journey. Thank you for choosing GIC mentoring program for your child's mentorship.
